Wessex Hyundai kindly sponsor the Fig Tree by providing us with a fantastic Hyndai i20 1.4 Diesel hatchback.  This has proved incredibly efficient and Sandie now drives this rather than her Saab around town and through the country lanes.

My Favourite restaurants

Moksh Cardiff Bay, the best Indian restaurant in the area owned and run by my adopted brother super chef Steven Gomes 

Il Vesuvio Llantwit Major a really nice family run Italian restaurant where Carlos (the Father and owner) cooks & his daughter & her fiance work front of house 

Tomlin's France Veggie heaven on the continent (and here at the Fig Tree twice a year). Cookery school, gites and rooms for the weary traveller
